This is a documentary about a "social surrealist" painter called Irving Norman. One of Norman's paintings (My World and Yours (And the Gods Created the World in Their Own Image), 1954) is in Crocker Museum in Sacramento. It is a very tall, and is very detailed. Irving Norman's use of painting as a language is semantically very rich.
